“I suffer from depression” are not the four words that you would have expected to come out of a teenager's mouth on a global stage. Kevin is a teenager, a stand-up comic, a writer, and an activist for mental health from Victoria, British Columbia. We both have ties to this beautiful city.

Ten Lessons I Learned About Relationships While Travelling
When you travel, the focus is on the destination. Travel guides draw you in with the sites you will see and what you will experience when you are visiting the new places. But for me, the highlights of any adventure I have ever been on, are the beautiful heart-felt connections you will develop with the people on your journey.
The people you meet along the way make the experience. I thought I needed to go to all these amazing places throughout the world to see the sites. What my soul craves, though, is to go meet new people and to build connections with them. Those are my most precious moments and souvenirs from travelling. The memories/lessons learned from these connections are what I cherish most.
My Top Motivational Songs
Music speaks to my heart. It also unites people and helps you ride life's waves.
One particular memory stands out as a highlight of my trip to Great Britain and Ireland this past summer with one of my sisters(the same sister who introduces me to new music). We had a special and uplifting experience one night on vacation in Killarney, Ireland. Our tour group consisted of more than forty adults of different age groups from around the world. This night in particular, we went to watch an outdoor concert that was happening near our hotel. The band was playing songs we all knew, so we sang out from the top of our lungs.
